I got off on 180St. I wanted to feel the experience of being at a train station where you can also find a police precinct. The outside is not attractive at all. There is Bronx River Parkway on one side, the MTA repair shop on the other and some huge factories.
When I was taking my pictures one police officer approached me and asked me if everything was fine. He asked me if I was doing a news article about it and I told him that this was for a school project. I offered him to show my ID but the officer told me it wasn’t necessary. I took some other pictures and went back to the train to continue my journey.
